Later on there’s this tension of “do I risk pissing off the boss and go for her properly, or do I keep pretending I’m just grateful to be here”, and the game actually lets you sit in that feeling for a while. Not just instant porn jump cut. It’s more like those moments when you’re alone in the living room at night, lights half off, she walks in with a glass of wine, sits too close on the sofa, and you both act like it’s normal until she puts her legs on your lap. It’s hot because it’s awkward.

And then there’s the daughter. Overprotected is putting it mild. She’s locked in this fancy, girly room with zero real life experience but a phone and internet and hormones going wild. She starts out bratty as hell, you kind of want to smack her, but it fits. The way she slowly warms up when you treat her like an actual person, not a museum piece, makes the later scenes hit harder. I liked that the game sometimes just lets you hang out with her, talk nonsense, watch something stupid on a tablet. One time I screwed up a stat and she just ignored me for several in-game days and I was more annoyed by that than missing a sex scene. And yeah, voyeurism all over the place. Standing at the top of the stairs, listening to them argue, sneaking past the boss’s office while he’s yelling on the phone, peeking into the wife’s room at night when she thinks no one is watching and she plays with herself on the edge of the bed, legs spread, robe half open. That little bar that tells you how tired or horny or whatever you are becomes this weird mini-game where you push yourself just to see if you can stay awake long enough to catch her walking from the shower. Once I spent too much time in the bathroom just clicking the mirror for no reason. Still kind of annoyed you can’t interact with the plants in the hallway. Don’t ask why, I just wanted to. Anyway, for me the best part is how it doesn’t rush. Sex comes, and it’s dirty and direct, but it crawls there through teasing, side glances, overheard fights, stupid chores, walking the same corridor a hundred times until it feels like home and prison at the same time.
