You can slightly nudge people’s emotions, twist their fear of the unknown, sharpen your senses until you hear heartbeats speed up when you touch them. There’s a scene in the school courtyard at night with this shy girl who’s obviously not fully human, something about her eyes, and if you spent points in the right branch, you can feel that thing moving inside her when you lean in. You press her up against a tree, her skirt riding up over a frankly stupidly round ass, and you can tell she’s scared of losing control of the monster in her, but also desperate to be used. The game lets you decide if you calm the beast down with subtle magic and make the sex soft and weirdly tender, or if you poke at it, teasing until her nails dig in your back and she growls in your ear while riding you. What annoyed me, though, is that sometimes the story acts like your choices are huge, then shoves you into the same corridor investigation anyway. There was this whole build of paranormal tension, a bathroom mirror that shows what you really are instead of your face, almost no clothing left, nipples hard, your hand between a girl’s thighs while something invisible taps on the glass from the other side, and just when it feels like it’s about to combine the horror and the sex properly, it cuts to a stat screen. Like, why right there? Who thought “yeah, this is a good moment to remind you about your Perception level”? Still, when it hits, it hits. The oral scenes feel wet and filthy, the big tits and big asses are not just “look, boobs,” they’re framed in ways that say a lot about power and shame. It’s messy in tone, half brilliant and half “what the hell are you doing,” but in this genre, that kind of broken energy sometimes feels more honest than a clean, polished fetish checklist.
